This Quest has 6 steps.What you will need: 20 Raspberries, 20 Spider Silk, and 6 Pine Needles
Quick Steps
- Go to Fawn's Hideout and ask if she has any quests. Pick Croakette's Tongue Twist.
- Head on over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale to go talk to Silvermist.
- Gather up 20 Raspberries for Silvermist and return them to her.
- Gather up 20 pieces of Spider Silk and return to Silvermist.
- Get a score of 10,000 on Bubble Bounce and return to Silvermist.
- Gather up 6 Pine Needles and return them to her.
- Return to Fawn.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest, No-Fire Flies, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do. Upon starting the quest, Fawn will greet you:
Fawn: "Heya, it's Fairyname Here! And you've come at just the right time, too!" "I've been spending the day near Minnow Lake giving tongue stretching exercises to some little frogs, but I've found a problem." "You know how frogs have long, sticky tongues? They use them to catch food, right? Well, little Croakette just can't seem to aim straight. I think her tongue is twisted!" "If I don't help her somehow, she won't be able to eat! But I don't know what to do. Can you lend a wing?"
Step 1
Once you agree, Fawn is thrilled and gives you the next step.
Fawn: "Great! The first thing you should do is visit Silvermist. If a critter lives near water, Silvermist knows a lot about it." "Ask Silvermist what might be wrong with Croakette."
Visit Silvermist in her grotto and ask her if she knows how to help Croakette.
Story So Far
Fawn's frog friend Croakette can't catch food! Fawn thinks maybe Silvermist can help.
Head over Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and talk to Silvermist about Croakette.
Step 2
Silvermist: "Oh my! Poor Croakette! Sounds like a classic case of Frog Tongue Twist." "Don't worry, I know how to make Straightening Paste! That will straighten her tongue right out!" "Let's see, what is Straightening Paste made out of again...? Oh! Raspberries! Go gather some while I double-check the rest of the ingredients with Elixa, the healing-talent Fairy."
Find 20 Raspberries and bring them to Silvermist. Progress: 0 of 20
Story So Far
Fawn's frog friend Croakette can't catch food because she has a case of Tongue Twist! Since frogs spend most of their time in the water, Fawn asked Silvermist for some expert water-talent advice. Now Silvermist needs your help to make Croakette some Straightening Paste.
You need to collect some ingredients. So, go search for 20 Raspberries. If you have 20 Raspberries already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.
Step 3
Silvermist: "These look just right!" "Now I need to strain the Raspberries so there are no little lumps. The best way to do that is to use Spider Silk." "Can you gather some Spider Silk for me?"
Find 20 pieces of Spider Silk and bring them to Silvermist. Progress: 0 of 20
Story So Far
Fawn's frog friend Croakette can't catch food because she has a case of Tongue Twist! Since frogs spend most of their time in the water, Fawn asked Silvermist for some expert water-talent advice. Now Silvermist needs your help gathering Spider Silk to make Straightening Paste for Croakette.
You need to collect some more ingredients. So, go search for 20 Spider Silk. If you have 20 Spider Silk already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.
Step 4
Silvermist: "Wow, this Spider Silk is splasharific, Fairyname Here! This'll strain every little lump out of the Raspberries!" "Now I just need to mix up the strained Raspberries with a few bubbles full of sparkling clear water." "I know just where to get the purest water ever. Meet me at Soapstone Stream, okay?"
Fly to Soapstone Stream in Dewdrop Vale and earn 10,000 points playing Bubble Bounce. Return to Silvermist in her grotto when you're done! Progress: 0 of 10000
Story So Far
Fawn's frog friend Croakette can't catch food because she has a case of Tongue Twist! Since frogs spend most of their time in the water, Fawn asked Silvermist for some expert water-talent advice. Now Silvermist needs your help collecting bubbles of water to make Straightening Paste for Croakette.
Play Bubble Bounce in Dewdrop Vale. Once you get the score of 10,000 needed, quit the game or play until you finish then return to Silvermist.
Step 5
Silvermist: "These look just perfect, Fairyname Here!" "We'll need to mix the strained Raspberries with the stream water." "Elixa, the healing-talent Fairy, said Straightening Paste can only be mixed using Pine Needles. It's an important part of the recipe. Can you find me some Pine Needles?"
Find 6 Pine Needles and bring them to Silvermist. Progress: 0 of 6
Story So Far
Fawn's frog friend Croakette can't catch food because she has a case of Tongue Twist! Since frogs spend most of their time in the water, Fawn asked Silvermist for some expert water-talent advice. Now Silvermist needs your help gathering Pine Needles to mix the Straightening Paste for Croakette.
You need to collect some more ingredients. So, go search for 6 Pine Needles. If you have 6 Pine Needles already you don't have to leave you can just give them to her, and then the next step will begin.
Step 6
Silvermist: "These are perfect for mixing the Straightening Paste! Thanks, Fairyname Here!" "Wait right there for a sec, okay?" "To make the Straightening Paste, I'll mix the strained Raspberries with the stream water..." "...and with a quick couple of stirs with the Pine Needles..." "..." "Flitterific! The Straightening Paste is ready!" "Fairyname Here, take this back to Fawn right away! She's waiting for you in her hideout."
Take the Straightening Paste to Fawn.

Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill, and give Fawn the Straightening Paste.
Fawn: "Finally! Poor Croakette is having a terrible time!" "I'll put this Straightening Paste on her tongue right away! Good thing it's made with Raspberries. She loves Raspberries!" "Oh, but before I go, here. I made this for you!" "Thanks for all of your help, chickadee! You're a real friend to the animals...and to ME!"
Your Reward
You'll receive a Little Lily Pad Barrette Green Fern as shown below. You also unlock the following quest upon completion: Thank You from the Heart.
