Quick Steps

• Go to the Pixie Postings and ring Kit’s Bell and ask if she has any quests. Pick Count the Branches.
• Go outside with a parent and count the branches on a tree you like.
• After 24-hours, return to Kit to inform her you completed the task and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Fly into the Pixie Postings section of the Hollow and ask Kit if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Kit will greet you:

Kit: "Sometimes we don’t look at things closely enough. The world is so full of stuff and it’s all around us -- flowers, plants, streams, animals, rain and snow -- how can we possibly notice everything?"
"Take trees, for example. There are so many of them that it’s easy not to notice them at all!"
"Fawn once told me that a great way to make sure you really see things is to count them -- oh, here I go again! Idea alert! That’s just what you should do!"
"When you leave Pixie Hollow today, go outside with a parent, find a tree you like, and count its branches. I bet you’ve never done that before! Would you like to?"

Step 1

Kit: "Oh, this is so great! When you count the branches, I bet you’ll notice all kinds of things about the tree that you’ve never noticed before!"

Go outside with a parent and count the branches on a tree you like.

Story So Far

Kit wants you to count the branches on a tree.

Once you log out of Pixie Hollow, make three friends or family members on the Mainland laugh by making funny faces.

After 24-hours, log back in and visit Kit again. She will ask you if you have completed the task:

Kit: "Trees are everywhere! Did you find one you like and count its brances?"

Select: I sure did!

Kit: "Tree-rific! ...Okay, sorry for that. But did you notice anything else while you were counting? You know, the color of the bark, birds or nests, or whether the tree had lots of leaves?"
"I’m so glad you took time to look at a tree. You might want to check out other trees. They’re all different, and they all like being appreciated!"
