A Party & A Play!

Hello Penguins!

There's tons of buzz about the Festival of Flight party that's coming August 14 - 18...and lots of creative stuff happening all over the island. Lots of you are already helping to get ready:

We've also heard that some of you were wondering if the Underwater Adventure was going to be another party like the Festival of Flight, but it's actually going to be a brand new Stage play! It'll start on August 21 - just in time for you to trade your flight-gear into fish-tails.

New Clothing Today!

Hello Penguins!

If you check out the new Penguin Style catalog, you'll see quite a few new things today:

• The winner of the new penguin color vote (aqua)!

In other news: It was cool so many of you let us know which furniture item you want to see next month. By a landslide (drum-roll...) the Green Puffle Beanbag won! It'll be available in the September edition of Better Igloos.

On Tuesday, we showed you guys a sneak peek of a new party that'll start August 14, and there were lots of guesses about what the image was. Did today's newspaper article about Gary help you figure it out? We really liked reading your answers to last week's question about Gary's inventions. Barkra said:

My favorite Gary the Gadget Guy invention is probably the Switchbox 3000 at the Stage. It is so much fun to see what each button does in the play! I love it! Thanks, Barkra. Hello Penguins!

The team's always trying to make the things you want - and we've been doing some thinking about new furniture for your igloos. We're hoping you'll help us decide on a new furniture item for the September issue of Better Igloos! Click which piece of furniture you'd like to see most:

Whenever there's a You Decide blog, we get tons of penguins who want to help choose, so it gets really busy. In the past, some of you have had to wait to leave comments. Until we can fix that, we're going to keep the comments off when we do these kinds of blogs. So you won't be able to leave a comment after you pick a furniture item - but they'll be back on tomorrow!!
