Quick Steps

• Go to the Pixie Postings and ring Kit’s Bell and ask if she has any quests. Pick Bud Hunt.
• Study twigs on trees or bushes and see if they have buds growing on them.
• After 24-hours, return to Kit to inform her you completed the task and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Fly into the Pixie Postings section of the Hollow and ask Kit if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Kit will greet you:

Kit: "You know what’s amazing? Seeing a flower bud bloom!"
"You know what a bud is, right? Just look at a twig on a tree or a bush. You’ll probably see little knobby-things on the tip and along the sides of the twig. Those are buds!"
"Buds are where new branches, leaves and flowers begin to grow."
"Hey, after you leave Pixie Hollow today, why don’t you go bud hunting? Find some twigs and see if there are little buds on them! What do you say?"

Step 1

Kit: "Great! Remember not to touch buds, though. Some of them are really fragile. Oh, and take a parent with you when you go outside, okay?"

Study twigs on trees or bushes and see if they have buds growing on them. Remember to take a parent with you if you go outside.

Story So Far

Kit has invited you to go on a bud hunt! Examine twigs on a tree or bush and see if they have buds on them. If they do, those buds will soon turn into a new branch, leaf or flower!

Once you log out of Pixie Hollow, go outside and study some twigs on trees. Look for any buds that are forming on them.

After 24-hours, log back in and visit Kit again. She will ask you if you have completed the task:

Kit: "Right here! Did you find any buds?"

Select: I sure did!

Kit: "Flitterific! Rosetta would be so excited! She just loves buds, you know."
"I once heard Rosetta say that some of her best buds were BUDS! Hmm. I guess that’s garden-talent humor."
