Every Animal Friend needs a Fairy to help them grow, so that they can eventually be released to the mainland. Members can help them grow by feeding them, taking them to Elixa's Hospital in Neverberry Thicket when they are sick, and playing games with them to keep them happy! Each Animal Friend species has a different food they like to eat and a unique game they like to play, and they all love to learn new tricks as they grow older! Be sure to click on the Animal Friend you choose to see their profile, and learn more about them.
Animal Friends can be purchased at Beck's Animal Nursery, which is located in Springtime Orchard. There are hummingbirds, fireflies, ladybugs and dragonflies available.
After you have selected the type of Animal Friend you wish to raise, you need to give it a name. You have the option of using a first name only, a last name only or a combination name. To select a first name only, unclick the blue dot under the last name column (right list). To select a last name only, unclick the blue dot under the first name column (left list). To select a combination name, make sure that both blue dots are clicked.
Animal Friend Names
This is a list of all the possible names you can select for your Animal Friend.
You can view an Animal Friend’s profile by clicking on it. You can also view an Animal Friend’s profile by clicking on a Fairy while flying in the meadows or by clicking on their Fairy name in your Friend List and then selecting the Animal Friends profile tab.
If you do not wish for your Animal Friend to fly with you in the Hollow, select the Take A Nap button and it will automatically fly to your Fairy home and go to sleep.
Your Animal Friend needs lots of nurturing! Each type of Animal Friend has a favorite food. When it gets hungry, you must feed it. If you do not feed your Animal Friend, it will return to the nursery. Your Animal Friend can only be fed while taking a nap in your Fairy home.
Clicking on the Feed Button on your Animal Friend's profile will cause a pop up message to appear. The message will tell you how much and which type of food is necessary to fill your Animal Friend’s Hunger need. You may feed it the full amount it is asking for, or you can slide the leaf to the left to decrease the amount of food.

After successfully feeding your Animal Friend, Age Points will be rewarded and your Animal Friend will grow!
Click on the Go To Hospital button on your Animal Friend’s profile to fly to Elixa's Hospital which is located in Neverberry Thicket. Once there, Elixa will tell you how to heal your Animal Friend and she will send you on a quest.

After successfully completing the quest and healing your Animal Friend, Age Points will be rewarded and your Animal Friend will grow!
Your Animal Friend must remain happy in order to grow properly. To keep your Friend in a good mood, play games with it! Each type of Animal Friend has a favorite game it likes to play. When you are ready to play with your Animal Friend, click on the Go Home And Play button on your Animal Friend’s profile.

After successfully playing with your Animal Friend, Age Points will be rewarded and your Animal Friend will grow!

As your Animal Friend grows, it will learn tricks to perform. However, if you give your Animal Friend the command for a trick it has not learned yet, it will show you a Question Mark emoticon.
