A Poem for a Friend is a quest you can get from Kit. Upon completion, you will receive a point toward the Kit Mainland Quests Badges.

Special Note: Kit’s quests are designed to be performed on the Mainland only, not while playing in-game.

Prerequisites: Players must complete the Mainland Quests Quest from Kit which introduces them to the concept of questing on the Mainland.

Quick Steps

Go to the Pixie Postings and ring Kit's Bell and ask if she has any quests. Pick A Poem for a Friend.
Write a poem for a friend.
After 24-hours, return to Kit to inform her you completed the task and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Fly into the Pixie Postings section of the Hollow and ask Kit if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Kit will greet you:

Kit: "I have a major case of the happies today! My friend Tabby wrote me a poem! Listen to this ... *ahem* ..."
"Kit is funny / Kit is fun / Kit keeps it dusty with everyone!"
"The dusty part is because I’m an animal-talent. You know, as in animals, dusty ... ? Anyhow ..."
"Friends love to get poems and -- oooh! That’s it! That’s what you should do!"
"When you leave Pixie Hollow today, write a poem for your best friend. Sound like fun?"

Step 1

Kit: "Great! You’re a poet -- I just know it!"

Story So Far

Kit wants you to write a poem for your best friend.

Once you log out of Pixie Hollow, sit down and write a nice poem for someone special on the Mainland.

After 24-hours, log back in and visit Kit again. She will ask you if you have completed the task:

Kit: "So, master of rhymes, did you write a poem for your best pal?"

Select: I sure did!

Kit: "Good for you! I bet you made your pal smile."
"Remember, poems don’t have to be perfect -- they just have to come from the heart. Yeah, I know -- that was pretty sappy. But it’s true!"
