A Gift for the Mermaids (Quest)

What you will need: 13 Ivy.

Quick Steps

• Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask if she has any quests. Pick A Gift for the Mermaids.
• Practice Tailor any top from Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in any color and give it to Silvermist.
• Gather 13 Ivy and give them to Sil.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:

Silvermist: "Pixie Name Here! Great, you're just in time. That is, just in time to help me make a gift for the mermaids!"
"I know, I know -- sometimes the mermaids aren't so nice. But I can always hope! That's why I leave gifts for them at Mermaid Lagoon!"
"Do you want to help me make a gift for the mermaids? I can give you a bottle of Seashell Blue Dye in return -- yes, it's my very own color!"

Step 1

Once you agree, Silvermist is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Silvermist: "Splashtacular! I usually leave the mermaids a piece of pixie clothing, since our fashions say so much about us."
"Let's make a top. Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook and make any top you want. You can even choose the color!"

Fly to Bobbin's Tailoring Nook in Springtime Orchard. Use Practice Tailoring to make any top you choose using any color dye. Fly to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

Story So Far

You're helping Silvermist make a gift for the mermaids. Practice Tailor any top at Bobbin's Tailoring Nook using any color dye!

Flap up to Springtime Orchard and enter Bobbin's Tailoring Nook. Choose Practice Tailoring and make any top you want. Select any color you like! You can choose to either do all the steps, or just one of them. Once you finish tailoring, return to Silvermist.

Step 2

Silvermist: "Oh, it's perfect! I bet the mermaids will love it! But we should wrap it in something pretty so they notice it."
"I'll get leaf wrapping paper! You get some Ivy for ribbon!"

Gather 13 Ivy and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale!

An ingredient collecting task! You are looking for Ivy if you don't have 13 already. Once you get the required 13 Ivy, give them to Silvermist.

Your Reward

Silvermist: "Thanks, raindrop. It's going to be such a pretty package! Here's your bottle of Seashell Blue Dye. Remember, you can only get this color from me!"
"Come back any time you want to help make another mermaid gift. I hope they'll want to be our friends someday!"

You get a Bottle of Seashell Blue Dye as show below as your reward, as well as earn 20 Talent Points upon completion.
