How to Play

Dewdrops fall from the flowers and roll down the strands of web. Try to guide them to fall into the walnut bucket.
Guide dewdrops to the bucket. Click to add new strands to the web to change the drop's course.
You can have 6 of your own strands on the web at once. If you try to add another, your first strand will disappear!
If you see a dewdrop sitting on the web, guide the falling drop over it to earn a Bonus!
If all your drops fall off the web, the game is over.

This is Spider Silk Grotto. I'm going to show you how to collect the dewdrops!
Dewdrops fall from the flowers and roll down the strands of the spider webs.
You can add strands to guide the drops so they go into the walnut bucket at the bottom.
Here is the walnut bucket that the dewdrops need to fall in to be collected.
Watch the flowers at the top! They'll shake when a dewdrop is about to fall.
Dewdrops follow the web strands down. They will move to another strand if they run into one that goes across. Watch!

See? We made a path for it to follow, and it went into the cup!

Choose A Difficulty Level
| Water Web is a talent game in which players can choose the level of difficulty they wish to play. |
Easy
| If you choose to play the Easy option, you will start at Level 1 and finish at Level 5. |
Medium
| If you choose to play the Medium option, you will start at Level 6 and finish at Level 13. |
Hard
| If you choose to play the Hard option, you will start at Level 14 and finish at Level 21. |
Royal
| If you choose to play the Royal option, you will start at Level 22 and finish at Level 30. |
Play All
| If you choose to play the Play All option, you will start at Level 1 and finish at Level 30. |

Level 1: This is Spider Silk Grotto, where we collect dewdrops to decorate blades of grass. Can you help collect the falling dewdrops?
Level 2: Look out! Those silly spiders just added a web strand of their own! We need to collect 4 drops now!
Level 3: Now let's collect 5 dewdrops.
Level 5: The spiders have added 2 web strands! Hey, you spiders, we're working here!
Level 6: You're one splashtastic dewdrop catcher! Those silly spiders won't be able to keep up with you!
Level 6: We need to collect 6 drops this time.
Level 9: More web strands? Those silly spiders are just making things harder!
Level 10: Now we need to collect 8 dewdrops!
Level 12: I don't believe it! Those goofy spiders put 4 new strands in the web.
Level 14: Those silly spiders will be sneakier than ever now. Let's go!
Level 15: Now the spiders have left us 5 web strands!
Level 16: We need to collect 10 drops now, okay?
Level 18: Suffering seafish, there are 6 web strands now!
Level 20: Get ready -- we need to collect 12 drops this time!
Level 21: Can you guide the drops through 7 web strands?
Level 22: Splashtacular job! Now let's see if you can get these last dewdrops. They're the trickiest of all!
Level 24: Wow, now we need to collect 14 dewdrops this time! Keep alert! The spiders have left 8 web strands for us!
Level 27: Can you guide the drops through all 9 web strands? I bet you can!
Level 28: Now it's time to collect 16 drops!
Level 30: Collect all 20 drops on this level and you'll win the game! Come on, we can do it!
Game Over
The game is over when you quit, run out of chances or have successfully played all the levels within the difficulty setting you chose. To beat the game, you must complete all 30 levels.
Rewards
You can choose between three items to receive (quantities vary).
Currently the game awards players with a choice of Lily Petals, Meadow Grass, or Spider Silk.

The value of the bonus drops changed over the course of the game. Initially the bonus drops were as follows:

On 26 April 2012, the game was changed to give all players access to the Medium, Hard, and Royal Levels. Play All Levels is still a Members-Only feature.
