Quick Quest Guide
This Quest has 6 steps.
What you will need: 40 Spider Silk (to purchase one Maple Brown Bubble'n'Boil Kettle), and 30 Snowflakes.
Honey Maple Cookies: 15 Acorns, 20 Snowflakes, 20 Honeycombs and 25 Maple Leaves.
Quick Steps
- Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask her if she has any quests. Pick Water Tests.
- Purchase a Maple Brown Bubble'n'Boil Kettle from Treetop Housewares and give it to Silvermist.
- Gather 30 Snowflakes and bring them to Silvermist.
- Fly to Marina's Place in the Fairy Coliseum and speak to Marina.
- Flit back to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and talk to Silvermist again.
- Personal Bake 6 Honey Maple Cookies and bring them to Silvermist.
- Earn a score of 4,000 points playing Bubble Bounce, then return to Silvermist.
- Pick your reward and the quest is over.
In Depth Quest Guide
This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.
Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the quest Tinker Tests, the quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will greet you:
Silvermist: "Fly with you, little sprinkle! Ooo, what a pretty blue gem. And it's shaped like a star! What is it?"
"Iridessa discovered it? And other stars have special light and tinker powers, so I should test this one to see if it has any water powers?"
"Sounds like fun! And it would be ripple-rific if you could help me."
Step 1
Accept this Quest?
Accept the quest and Silvermist is thrilled and gives you the first step.
Silvermist: "Splashtacular! Let's start by... um, how should we start? Well, I'm a water-talent. Let's put it in water and see what it does!"
"Oh, Tink already tried that and it made bubbles? Then let's try HOT water. Get a Bubble'n'Boil Kettle from Treetop Housewares!"
Fly to Treetop Housewares in Treetop Bend and get a Bubble'n'Boil Kettle. Bring it to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and give this item to Silvermist when you are done!

Story So Far
You're helping Silvermist investigate the blue star. Get a Bubble'n'Boil Kettle at Treetop Housewares!
Your first task is to fly to Treetop Bend and enter Treetop Housewares. Purchase a Bubble'n'Boil Kettle, which will cost you 40 Spider Silk, and then give the item to Silvermist.
Step 2
I have a Bubble'n'Boil Kettle for Silvermist!
Silvermist: "Thanks, little sprinkle! It will take a few minutes for the water to boil, so let's think ahead."
"If hot water doesn't make the star do anything, maybe freezy cold water will. I need you to gather Snowflakes."
Gather 30 Snowflakes and bring them to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale!

You're helping Silvermist investigate the blue star. Gather Snowflakes!
An ingredient collecting task! You are searching for Snowflakes if you don't have 30 already. Once you get the required 30 Snowflakes, bring them to Silvermist.
Step 3
I have Snowflakes for Silvermist!
Silvermist: "Good, because hot water made the star bubble, just like Tinker Bell said. But any water-talent can make bubbles."
"Give me those Snowflakes and let's see what the blue star does in freezy cold water!"
"Wow, can you hear it, little sprinkle? The blue star is making BIG bubbles that go POP POP POP!"
"But that's still not very useful, is it? Do you think Marina might have an idea? Go ask her!"
Fly to Marina's Place. You can get there from the Fairy Coliseum!

Next, fly up to the Fairy Coliseum and enter Marina's Place. Speak with Marina.
Step 4
I'm here to see Marina!
Marina: "What a surprise! What brings you to my shores, Pixie Name Here? Oh, Silvermist needs help?"
"Ah, I see. Just remind her that there are 2 kinds of water in the world - fresh water, like in a stream, and salt water, like in the ocean."
"She should experiment with both. Good luck!"
Fly to Silvermist's Grotto. You can get there from Dewdrop Vale!

You're helping Silvermist investigate the blue star. Fly back to her grotto!
Now flap back to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and talk to Sil again.
Step 5
I'm back, Silvermist!
Silvermist: "Goodness glaciers, Marina is right - I need to experiment with both fresh water and SALT water! Now why didn't I think of that...?"
"Anyway, let's go to Dulcie's Kitchen. I'll get salt from her to make salt water."
"And since experimenting is such hard work, you can bake some Honey Maple Cookies for us to nibble!"
Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Use Personal Baking to make 6 Honey Maple Cookies. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

Story So Far
You're helping Silvermist investigate the blue star. Go bake Honey Maple Cookies at Dulcie's Kitchen!
This baking task must be completed in Dulcie's Kitchen, which is located in Neverberry Thicket. The Honey Maple Cookies recipe is unlocked at Talent Level 6. Try for a high quality score so that you earn all 6 cookies in the first batch. If you don’t make the 6 Honey Maple Cookies needed the first time baking, continue to Personal Bake until you do. Fly back to Silvermist's when you have completed your baking task.
Step 6
I baked Honey Maple Cookies for Silvermist!
Silvermist: "Ooo, yummy nummies! I'll eat one while I mix up the salt water."
"Okay, I've made salt water. Now I'm dunking the blue star into it and..."
"Nothing. Well, not NOTHING nothing. I mean, the blue star made bubbles again..."
"Maybe that means something. Pixie Name Here, I need some bubbles right away. Let's go play Bubble Bounce!"
Fly to Dewdrop Vale. Earn 4,000 points playing Bubble Bounce. Return to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale when you are done!

You're helping Silvermist investigate the blue star. Play Bubble Bounce!
It’s talent game time! Play Bubble Bounce until you reach a score of at least 4,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return to Silvermist.
Your Reward
I played Bubble Bounce with Silvermist!
Silvermist: "Okay, I brought back a few bubbles. Let's see what happens if I touch one to the blue star."
"Bless my wings, the star - it turned into a bubble! Now it's sucking the regular bubble INTO it! Whoa, now it's become hard as rock!"
"A blue star creates a hard bubble that protects whatever is inside of it! We can use them to protect all kinds of precious objects!"
"You still have 2 stars left, Pixie Name Here. Hurry, go visit Rosetta next and help her find out what the pink star does! Good luck!"
You'll receive the Water Star Discovery Badge, as shown below. You also earn 80 Talent Points, as well as unlock the following quest upon completion: Garden Tests.
