Club Penguin was created by RocketSnail - a flash game programming company located in Canada.

Experimental Penguins

In January 2001 RocketSnail created a chat program called "Experimental Penguins"

Several games that they created will seem familiar

	Early Ballistic Biscuit
	Early Mancala - using snails with rockets on them
	And, of course the first incarnation of Club Penguin . . . Experimental Penguins

Penguin Chat 1

In 2004 "Experimental Penguins" became "Penguin Chat"

The new version of the games

	Ballistic Biscuit (which started in Club Penguin as that name and then later named Hydro-Hopper}
	Mancala
	The Word Crunch is seen in the Club Penguin Times often
	And, of course the precursor to Club Penguin . . . Penguin Chat

Club Penguin

In October 2005 it evolved into the full game of Club Penguin
