What were tickets?

roomticket.jpg
Tickets were used to make your rooms more exclusive. If your room was set to only allow people with tickets, then only those wearing the ticket that went to that specific room will be able to enter. Tickets were worn like pins, and expired like single use pins. The creator of the pin could set the amount of days the ticket would be good for. You could get a ticket for a room by having the owner trade it to you like you would a normal pin. Then, when you put it on, you could enter that room. Rooms that required tickets will have a purple name and a ticket symbol.

Buying tickets

Only the room owner bought tickets for a room. You could obtain a ticket to a room that wasn't yours by having the owner trade a ticket to you. In order to buy tickets for your room, you could click on the information tabInfobutton.jpg on your toolbar. Then you'd click "Create Tickets" to start buying tickets.

When buying tickets, you had the option of changing how long they could be used. Your choices were:

  • Expires in 1 day
  • Expires in 3 days
  • Expires in 7 days
  • Expires in 30 days

Each ticket cost 10 credits. You could choose whether to buy 1 ticket for 10 credits, 2 for 20, or 3 for 30. You could get 2 credits back for selling them.

Staff Tickets

HOSTs have been known to give out tickets in their quests and then have a party for those winners weeks later. If you were lucky enough to win Best Guest Room (and guest room only) you would be rewarded with 33 tickets for a staffs Club 33 Party. You would then give out your tickets to 32 of your friends (don't forget to save a ticket for yourself!) and tell them when the party is.

Using Your Tickets

Once you received a ticket, you must put it on you, as you would a pin, or you couldn't get in a room. Once you put it on, you could enter the room, but please note, the ticket would then vanish, you had to get another ticket if you wished to enter that room after you left.
