History

On 20 September 2005 VMK released a Shopper Alert to VMK players on the VMK Home Page warning that the Shrunken Ned Shirts would soon be going away:

Shopper Alert!
Shrunken Ned T-shirts may soon be in short supply. We just received word from the warehouse that we are running dangerously low, and the factory is back-ordered. Don't be caught without one—get yours before we run out!

Then on 27 September 2005 these items were removed from the Shop button and players were no longer able to purchase them in VMK. The Shrunken Ned items remained available to new players who were creating their character. The VMK Home Page had the following announcement:

Shopper Alert!
As we feared, the Shrunken Ned short sleeved T-shirts have all sold out. The factory says we will be able to get more, but right now we don't have a delivery date. Hope you got yours!
