Garden Party!

AceKatieKat loves everything about Alice in Wonderland, so when I came across her unfinished garden party room, I thought of some great stuff in my HOST toolkit to help her create the yard of her dreams!

BEFORE: The Mad Hatter's Tea Party Room is already equipped with great lighting, we just need to add the madcap merriment!

We started by clearing the room and decorating the edge of the yard. Using ALR Rabbit's Low Walls both long and short, we created a dark red fence. Right behind the walls on three sides of the room we added all the variations of the ALR Lighted Trees (1, 2, and 3). ALR Mushrooms in varying colors and sizes – SM, Glow, Orange, Purple – are scattered throughout the garden and add bright pops of color! To finish the yard, an ALR Butterfly Mushroom, that invites Guest into the garden.

TIP: Mixing both dark and light colors, like in the ALR Lighted Trees, make bright colors really stand out.

Now for the centerpiece of this festive room: three animated ALR Tea Party Tables side by side are surrounded by all kinds of colorful VMK chairs! We used Pirate Thrones, Captain Nemo Chairs, Barrel Seats, Heart Chairs, Gumdrop Chairs, Aladdin Flying Carpet Chairs, Haunted Mansion Rocking Chairs, Refreshment Corner Chairs – even a Tron Chair – which AceKatieKat just happens to be sitting on! A few more ALR Mushrooms and a just a handful of PPR Blue Plants make this garden bloom to life.
