NiceGoldKnight's
Night River Ride!

While wearing his Dreams Ears, NiceGoldKnight dreamed of nighttime river ride that twisted around mermaid islands and lagoons. The ears must have helped because as he was building his room, I came along to lend a hand!

BEFORE: It may seem like a soggy start, but these water carpets give me inspiration!

Since we're making a ride room, as we always do, we start by clearing the room and placing our backdrops (in this case, PPR Neverland Flats 1 and 4). To figure out our boundaries and where we wanted the ride track to go, we added a few PPR Small Islands, 1 and 2. Now the fun part: Waterslide pieces, including Uphills and Downhills and a pair of teleporters to create a ride!

This room is full of blue tones, so we used the Blizzard Beach Waterslide Start – now all of NiceGoldKnight's friends can ride on blue inner tubes. To make the ride track rise and fall, we used Typhoon Lagoon Palm Trunks.

TIP: Design your ride layout before you decorate the room – or you'll end up moving a lot of stuff around for your ride track.

With our ride system in place, it was time to place props in the room. PPR Plants in Blue and Green, PPR Double Palmtrees, PPR Small Rocks and a few PPR Small Rocks with Trees help capture our design theme. A mermaid lagoon is created by adding PPR Mermaids 1, 2, and 3 (for fun we placed PPR Smee in Boat off to one corner), we also replaced one of the islands we made with a pair of PPR Large Rocks for more variety.

To make it really look like night, we added a lot of PPR Night Clouds, all around the room. Finally, for a magical effect, we added a PPR Neverland Rainbow that only appears when you ride under it!
