Dishing with Dulcie

Today Tabby gave me a flitterific idea! She said it was about time for a one-on-one interview in the Never News, and she knew just who I should talk to - Dulcie. Dulcie is one of the most well-known baking-talents in Pixie Hollow. Tabby saw her hard at work yesterday setting up a training kitchen for Fairies who are interested in learning some of her special Pixie Dust recipes. The moment I heard this I flew straight over to Neverberry Thicket and found Dulcie myself. Here is what she had to say:
Marina: I hear you are opening up a new kitchen in the Hollow. Is that true?
Dulcie: Sure as sugar!
Marina: What made you decide to open a special kitchen here in the thicket?
Dulcie: I got the idea one day while I was baking at the tea-room. Quite a few scout-talent Fairies came in looking tired. The Queen has them working on new paths to the orchard and Wilderness areas lately. They said that it is such hard work they often run out of pixie dust. I thought it would be nice to get a kitchen set up that was dedicated to making special pixie dust cookies that give Fairies a little extra glow!
Marina: That's great. So Fairies heading on an adventure can stop here first and bake some special treats for their journey?
Dulcie: That's right. We'll be baking for the community, but also I'm always pleased as plum cake to have Fairies stop by and bake for their own pouch.
Marina: I'm just curious, what is your favorite thing to bake?
Dulcie: Poppy puff rolls, of course! But here in the thicket it will be strictly cookies for a while. They travel much better. Perhaps we'll expand our menu later.
Marina: By the way, when is this baking nook going to open?
Dulcie: Whew, as soon as I get a good long nap! I've been working on it for a long time, but this week I'm putting the finishing touches on the nook and hope to open the doors in just a matter of days.
Marina: Flitterific! I promise I'll come back and see you then try my hand at some acorn cookies. Thanks, Dulcie!
