Basic Information
Magician job advancement is made at level 8, and you need a minimum of 20 INT to make the job advancement. Head to the Magic Library which is located at the highest point of Ellinia, where you'll meet up with Grendel the Really Old. Talk to him and he'll advance you as a Magician if you've the requirement stats. You can get to the job advancement place by going to the RED dot on the picture.

Magicians along with the other jobs need two different ability points to wear equips and weapons. For Magicians, they need LUK. To wear all equips and weapons, you need LUK to be +3 of your level. I.E. Level 25 = 28 LUK. Stay on that course, and you will be able to wear all equips and weapons when needed.
Magicians use Staffs and Wands. Wands are much quicker in attack speed, but are weaker in magic attack. Staffs are slower in attack speed, but are stronger in magic attack.
There are three distinct ways at the second job advancement.
Fire/Poison Wizard: Gives you power to use Fire and Poison magic. Fire spells are strong against Ice based monsters. Poison magic isn't really weak or strong against monsters, but they take away HP slowly from a monster when they are poisoned for a short amount of time. Poison can not defeat monsters, but they do take them to 1 HP if the monster is poisoned for a long enough time. There are a select few monsters which are immune to poison magic. Including all bosses.
[Ice/Lightning Wizard: Gives you power to use Ice and Lightning magic. Ice spells are strong agaisnt Fire based monsters. All Ice magic freezes monsters when used on them. Except for Ice based monsters. Lightning spells are strong against Water based monsters.
Cleric: Gives you the power of Holy magic. Including a very vital skill called Heal. Which allows you to heal yourself, and anyone within your party. Perhaps the most popular, and needed job in the game.
Wizard (Fire/Poison):

Wizard (Ice/Lightning):

Cleric:

Type: Passive
Description: Recovering even more MP every 10 sec. The higher the level of the character and the skill level, the more recovery it enables the character to have.
