Quick Steps

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask Fawn if she has any quests. The quest should pop up immediately and you'll be able to begin. Upon starting the quest, Fawn will greet you:

Fawn: "It’s time, oh yes, it’s time! It’s time for my favorite chickadee to learn the next Taaalent Skiiilll!"
"Okay, so maybe that wasn’t the best song ever, but I just got back from cricket chorus practice an’ I’m feelin’ musical, y’know?"
"Anyhoo, it’s time for you to learn SPLASH! Face it, gettin’ down an’ dusty with the critters is a dirty job. Ready to learn Splash?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Fawn: "Flaptastic! Now we all know it’s important to stay clean. An’ critters can get soooo dirty!"
"Especially badgers. Sufferin’ stink bugs, it’s hard to convince ‘em to take a bath. They’re awfully grumpy. But they usually listen after you BADGER them."
"HA! Anyhoo, take Buford Badger. He’ll only take a bath if I bring him pretty-smelling Rose Petals for his bath water. So go on, get some Rose Petals!"

Gather 10 Rose Petals and bring them to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill.
Progress: # of 10

Story So Far

Fawn is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Splash. Show her that you understand the need to help animals keep clean by gathering Rose Petals!

Your first task is a gathering one! It’s time to collect some Rose Petals, if you don’t have 10 already. Once you get the required 10 Rose Petals, return to Fawn and give them to her.

Step 2

I have Rose Petals for Buford’s bath!

Fawn: "Critterific! Now, you probably know that certain critters have to stay wet, like frogs, turtles and otters."
"But sometimes they wander away from their watery homes an’ start to get dry and sore. That’s where Splash comes in!"
"When I find a lost critter like that, I use Splash to get it wet and then help it find its way back home!"
"O’course, you can also just use a dewdrop. Show me how well you can get dewdrops by helping Silvermist in Spider Silk Grotto!"

Fly to Neverberry Thicket. Earn 5,000 points playing Water Web in Spider Silk Grotto. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!
Progress: # of 5,000

Story So Far

Fawn is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Splash. Show her that you understand how to rescue dry animals by helping Silvermist collect dewdrops in Spider Silk Grotto!

Now it's time to head over to Neverberry Thicket and play Water Web until you reach a score of 5,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative). When you are finished playing, return to Fawn.

Step 3

I collected dewdrops with Silvermist!

Fawn: "Good job! You’ll be able to help watery critters now if they need it. But what if they’ve already become too dry?"
"I Splashed Ferguson the Frog awhile back, but it was a little late. He was lost and really, really dry. He’s okay now, but his skin is still healing."
"Why don’t you go find him in Bubbly Bog an’ use your Heal Talent Skill to help him along?"

Fly to Dewdrop Vale, enter the Bubbly Bog Wilderness, and find Ferguson the Frog. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!
Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Fawn is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Splash. Show her that you understand how to heal too-dry animals by helping Ferguson the Frog in Bubbly Bog!

Next fly to Dewdrop Vale and enter The Bubbly Bog. Lead a new adventure and select Learn to Splash. Complete all the challenges and report back to Fawn. Be sure to have enough cookies made prior to entering the Wilderness!

Step 4

I helped Ferguson the Frog in Bubbly Bog!

Fawn: "Good work, chickadee! Next Splash lesson -- a lot of critters live in plants an’ trees, and sometimes plants an’ trees get dry."
"Garden an’ water-talents usually water plants, but sometimes they’re not around. Thankfully, we can use Splash to help."
"If you’re not great at Splash, a Watering Tin is good to have. Visit Copper’s Tinkering Nook an’ make one, okay? Make it Grassblade Green!"

Fly to Copper's Tinkering Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Personal Tinkering to make a Watering Tin, using Grassblade Green Dye from Daisy's Dyes in Cherryblossom Heights. Fly to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!
Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

Fawn is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Splash. Show her that you understand how to help dry plants by Personal Tinkering a Grassblade Green Watering Tin at Copper’s Tinkering Nook!

The first thing you need to do for this step is to purchase a Bottle of Grassblade Green Dye from Daisy's Dyes located in Cherryblossom Heights. Once you have your dye, flap to Copper's Tinkering Nook in Maple Tree Hill. In order to Personal Tinker the Watering Tin, you will have to have the Blueprint unlocked and available for Personal Tinkering. To unlock the Watering Tin Blueprint, you must first complete the Seedpod Fan Blueprint, which will unlock the Leaf Blanket Blueprint. Complete the Leaf Blanket Blueprint to unlock the Clay Pot Blueprint, which when finished will unlock the Watering Tin Blueprint. Complete the Watering Tin Blueprint using Community Tinkering and it will be available to you for Personal Tinkering. When you have finished tinkering the watering tin, return to Fawn and give it to her.

Step 5

I tinkered a Watering Tin!

Fawn: "Critterific! Now get ready, ‘cuz your last lesson in Splash is all about spooky dark nights. Ooooooooo ... hee hee!"
"Some baby critters are scared of the dark. Their parents might ask a friendly firefly to hover nearby, or a light-talent may leave a bright sparkle."
"But some critter parents prefer the soft glow of a POLISHED Yellow Gem. Fly to The Never Mine an’ gather some Yellow Gems!"

Fly to Chilly Falls and enter the Never Mine Wilderness. Find 10 Yellow Gems and bring them to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill.
Progress: # of 10

Story So Far

Fawn is teaching you your fifth Talent Skill, Splash. Show her that you understand how to help animals who are scared of the dark by gathering Yellow Gems in The Never Mine!

This next step is a gathering task. To fulfill the requirement, you will need 10 Yellow Gems. If you don’t have the 10 needed already, fly to The Never Mine and Go Scouting. Once you have acquired the necessary amount, flap back to Fawn and give them to her.

Your Reward

I gathered Yellow Gems in The Never Mine!

Fawn: "Flaptastic, chickadee! Now I’ll just use Splash to polish ‘em up, an’ we’ll have perfect night lights!"
"Splash splash splash!"
"And speakin’ of Splash -- YOU JUST DID IT! You’ve earned your fifth Talent Skill! Congratulations!"
"Just don’t think you can fly around Splashin’ everybody now for laughs. That’s MY job!"

You will now be able to perform the Talent Skill Splash in all wilderness areas of Pixie Hollow.
