This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should appear in the list of quests you may do. Upon starting the quest, Fawn will greet you:

Fawn: "Fairyname here! I have the most flaptastic news -- I’ve already finished making the eggs for this year’s Never Dove Egg Hunt!"
"I went out an’ found pebbles, and I painted ‘em to look just like Never Dove eggs! They look so real I even got compliments from a Never Dove!"
"Say, do you want to help me hide the eggs for the Never Dove Egg Hunt?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Fawn is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Fawn: "Critterific! Wait here, I’ll go get ‘em!"
"AAGH!! THEY’RE GONE!!"
"All the eggs I made -- they’re gone! Who would want to take pretend eggs? We have to find ‘em! There’s not enough time to make more!"
"Rosetta was here right before you came. She should be back in her garden by now. Ask her if she’s seen the eggs while I search Autumn Forest!"

Fly to Rosetta's Garden! You can get there from Cherryblossom Heights.

Story So Far

Fawn made eggs for the Never Dove Egg Hunt, but they’ve disappeared! Go ask Rosetta if she’s seen them!

Your first task is to flit over to Cherryblossom Heights and see Rosetta.

Step 2

I’m here to see Rosetta!

Rosetta: "Sugarplum, what’s the problem? Your wings are twitchin’!"
"Sufferin’ seedlings, that’s awful! But I didn’t see anything strange. You’d better fly back an’ help Fawn find those eggs!"

Fly to Fawn's Hideout! You can get there from Maple Tree Hill.

Story So Far

Fawn made eggs for the Never Dove Egg Hunt, but they’ve disappeared! Rosetta hasn’t seen them. Fly back and tell Fawn!

Return to Maple Tree Hill and talk to Fawn again.

Step 3

I’m here to see Fawn!

Fawn: "Rosetta hasn’t seen the eggs? Aw, thistle thorns!"
"Oh, while you were gone, Page brought me a message from Beck. She’s another animal-talent. Seems the critters have started an important project."
"They need help. Can you lend ‘em a wing while I figure out where those eggs are? Thanks, chickadee!"
"The note says the squirrels need Twigs. They’re building a “nest extension.” Not sure where or why. Can you help gather Twigs?"

Gather 25 Twigs and bring them to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill.

Step 4

I have Twigs for Fawn!

Fawn: "Thanks. I haven’t found those eggs yet -- could you help the critters a little more? The rabbits asked us to make Leaf Panel Curtains for “privacy.”"
"I don’t know why they want privacy, but you can make Leaf Panel Curtains at Copper’s Tinkering Nook? You choose the colors!"

Fly to Copper's Tinkering Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Community Tinkering to make Leaf Panel Curtains. Fly to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and give this item to Fawn when you are done!

The blueprint will not be automatically available for Community Tinkering -- you must earn it. When you have tinkered the curtains, flit back to Fawn and give them to her.

Step 5

I made Leaf Panel Curtains for Fawn!

Fawn: "Nice job, chickadee! Too bad I haven’t found those eggs. I still need your help with the critters, if that’s okay."
"The mice want sheet music from Drowsy Den ‘cuz lullabies are “soothing.” I wonder why they need soothing music?"
"Anyhoo, I want to ask the critters in Drowsy Den if they’ve seen the eggs, so let’s both go. We can play a few lullabies while we’re there!"

Fly to Snowcap Glade. Earn 5,000 points playing Snowy Lullaby in Drowsy Den. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Fawn: "SIGH. None of the critters in Drowsy Den have seen the eggs, but at least we got sheet music for the mice."
"I’m going to look for the eggs in Silver Trees next. While I do that, can you help the robins? They say they need vegetable seeds “to keep nearby.” Hmm."
"You can get seeds from the Minister of Spring. He’s over in Treetrunk Knoll now, sorting seed packets to bring to the mainland next season."

Fly to Treetop Bend. Earn 25,000 points playing Seed Sorter in Treetrunk Knoll. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!

Step 7

I have vegetable seeds for Fawn!

Fawn: "Thanks! The robins should be real happy with these seeds. As for me, I’m not so happy -- I didn’t’ find the eggs! I think I’ll check Soapstone Stream next."
"While I do, will you get Oak Leaves for the chipmunks? They want to make a notebook for the “new schedule.” Schedule for who, I wonder?"
"Well anyhoo, go find some Oak Leaves, ‘kay?"

Gather 15 Oak Leaves and bring them to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill.

Step 8

I have Oak Leaves for Fawn!

Fawn: "Critterific! But sufferin’ stink bugs, I STILL haven’t found those thistle-twisting eggs! I’m at the end of my wingtips here -- where could they be?!"
"SIGH. Well, the critters have one more request -- the deer want Blueberry Cookies ‘cuz “they’re Laylee’s favorite.” WHATEVER."
"Will you go bake Blueberry Cookies at Dulcie’s Kitchen while I keep looking for the eggs?"

Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Use Community Baking to make 1 batch of Blueberry Cookies. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and give them to Fawn when you are done!

Now you can Community Bake a batch of Blueberry Cookies! When you are finished baking, return to Fawn's Hideout and speak to Fawn.

Step 9

I baked Blueberry Cookies for Fawn!

Fawn: "Oh, those smell absolutely flitterific! The note says we’re supposed to take them to Laylee ..."
"Wait just one flap -- Laylee is a Never Dove! The critters wanted curtains for privacy, seeds nearby, lullabies ... I KNOW WHERE THE EGGS ARE!!"
"Oh, this is funny! I don’t want to tell you just yet -- I want to be sure. Go find Sunflower Seeds while I make a quick visit to somebody, ‘kay?"

Gather 25 Sunflower Seeds and bring them to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill.
Progress: # of 25

Your Reward

I have Sunflower Seeds for Fawn!

Fawn: "HA! I was right! I just visited Laylee the Never Dove! She thought the pretend eggs were real, so she took ‘em and was sitting on ‘em in her nest!"
"And since there were so many, all the critters were helping her! Isn’t that sweet? And funny! Laylee about laughed her wings off when I told her!"
"Thanks, chickadee, for helpin’ me through all this. I’ll go get the eggs now, an’ I’ll give Laylee these Sunflower Seeds you gathered."
"Have a Happy Never Dove Egg Hunt!"
