Quick Steps

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and ask her if she has any quests. The quest should appear in the list of quests you may do and you'll be able to begin immediately. Upon starting the quest, Fawn will greet you:

Fawn: "It’s our annual “Salute to Animal Mothers Week!” Let’s wish moms everywhere health, happiness, an’ a flitterific day! Never Land is full of parties!"
"There’s the Annual Mothers’ Beetle Bash, the Pigeon Matrons Party, the Squirrel Moms Celebration -- that’s a lot of happy hubbub!"
"But I’m not partying today. I’m makin’ a gift for the mother birds. I’m going to turn Flapaway Point out by Neverfruit Grove into a baby bird flight school!"
"Fairies will teach baby birds to fly there, and the mama birds will get to take a break. Want to help me build it?"

Step 1

Accept this Quest?

Once you agree, Fawn is thrilled and gives you the first step.

Fawn: "Critterific! Now the first thing we need to do is -- huh? Oh, Page the messenger-talent is here. Hold on a flap."
"Got it. Thanks, Page!"
"This note is from Chester the chipmunk. He says he’s run out of Sunflower Cookies for the big Chipmunk Mom Appreciation Party."
"He’s asking if I’ll bake for him. Can you do it, chickadee? That way I can keep workin’ on Flapaway Point."

Fly to Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket. Use Community Baking to make 1 batch of Sunflower Cookies. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and give them to Fawn when you are done!
Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

You’re going to help Fawn build Flapaway Point for mother birds. But first help the chipmunks by Community Baking 1 batch of Sunflower Cookies at Dulcie’s Kitchen!

This baking task must be completed in Dulcie's Kitchen, which is located in Neverberry Thicket. In order to Community Bake the Sunflower Cookies, the recipe must be unlocked and available. To open the recipe, you must first complete the Acorn Cookie Recipe. Once you have the recipe ready, bake your cookies. Fly back to Fawn’s when you have completed your baking task.

Step 2

I baked Sunflower Cookies for Chester the chipmunk!

Fawn: "Thanks, chickadee! But now here’s another last-minute task -- Cheese the mouse came by, an’ he was frantic!"
"He was supposed to get a sprocket from Tink for the Mother Mouse Jamboree. His mother has always wanted a shiny sprocket doorknob for her house."
"I guess Flapaway Point can wait a few more minutes while you get a sprocket in the Sorting Station. Will you do it? If Tink is there, she’ll help you!"

Fly to Cottonpuff Field. Earn 8,000 points playing Tinker Toss in the Sorting Station. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!
Progress: # of 8,000

Story So Far

You’re going to help Fawn build Flapaway Point for mother birds. But first help Cheese the mouse by finding a sprocket in the Sorting Station!

It’s talent game time! Play Tinker Toss until you reach a score of at least 8,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return to Fawn.

Step 3

I found a sprocket for Cheese the mouse!

Fawn: "Ooo, so shiny! I’ll take it to Cheese right away. While I do, you can finally start helpin’ with Flapaway Point."
"I want to hang nice juicy Raspberries near the take-off nests. Gotta give the baby birds a reason to fly, right?"
"That means I need lots of Raspberries, ‘kay? Go gather ‘em!"

Gather 15 Raspberries and bring them to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill.
Progress: # of 15

Story So Far

You’re helping Fawn build Flapaway Point for mother birds. Gather Raspberries!

An ingredient collecting task! You need to gather up some Raspberries, if you don’t have 15 already. Once you get the required 15 Raspberries, return to Fawn and give them to her.

Step 4

I have Raspberries for Fawn!

Fawn: "Critterific! Next I need colored flags to mark the landing platforms. The flags should be cut out of sturdy leaf cloth."
"Why don’t you go visit Copper’s Tinkering Nook an’ make a nice thick Leaf Blanket? That will work perfectly! Dye it Blue Jay Blue, ‘kay?"

Fly to Copper's Tinkering Nook in Maple Tree Hill. Use Community Tinkering to make a Leaf Blanket. Use Blue Jay Blue Dye from Sunny's Shades in Neverfruit Grove. Fly to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill and give this item to Fawn when you are done!
Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

You’re helping Fawn build Flapaway Point for mother birds. Community Tinker a Blue Jay Blue Leaf Blanket at Copper’s Tinkering Nook!

Your next step is a Tinkering task. Despite the fact that the instructions tell you to purchase dye for this task, you do not need to. The shop owner will provide all materials needed for Community Tinkering. So just flit straight up to Copper's Tinkering Nook and enter. However, in order to complete the task, you will have to have the Blueprint unlocked for Community Tinkering. To unlock the Leaf Blanket Blueprint, you must first complete the Seedpod Fan Blueprint. Also, you must tinker the blanket using Blue Jay Blue Dye for it to count. After you have tinkered the blanket, return to Fawn.

Step 5

I made a Leaf Blanket for Fawn!

Fawn: "Yep, this Leaf Blanket will work just right. Thanks, chickadee! Now I need you to help me make a net."
"Not all baby birds flap so well on their first flight. I want to make a big net to catch them if they fall!"
"Strong spider webbing from Spider Silk Grotto works best. Will you get some for me? If Silvermist is there gathering dewdrops, she’ll help you out!"

Fly to Neverberry Thicket. Earn 12,000 points playing Water Web in Spider Silk Grotto. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you are done!
Progress: # of 12,000

Story So Far

You’re helping Fawn build Flapaway Point for mother birds. Fly to Spider Silk Grotto and help Silvermist gather dewdrops!

You are off to play another talent game! Play Water Web until you reach a score of at least 12,000 points (whether in one shot or cumulative), then return to Fawn.

Step 6

I got strong spider webbing at Spider Silk Grotto!

Fawn: "Flaptastic, chickadee! Now I need you to gather Dandelion Fluff to pad the net!"

Gather 35 Dandelion Fluff and bring them to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill.
Progress: # of 35

Story So Far

You’re helping Fawn build Flapaway Point for mother birds. Gather Dandelion Fluff!

More ingredient collecting! This time you are looking for Dandelion Fluff, if you don’t have 35 already. Once you get the required 35 Dandelion Fluff, return to Fawn and give them to her.

Step 7

I have Dandelion Fluff for Fawn!

Fawn: "Yup, this Dandelion Fluff is soft, all right. Exactly what I need! Thanks, Pixie Name here!"
"Wow, Flapaway Point is almost ready! All that’s left is to tidy up the mess I made building it! Hm, I think Sunny has a broom in her dye shop ..."
"Will you fly to Sunny’s Shades an’ look? Let me know if she has a broom."

Fly to Sunny's Shades in Neverfruit Grove and see if a broom is there. Return to Fawn's Hideout in Maple Tree Hill when you find it!
Progress: # of 1

Story So Far

You helped Fawn build Flapaway Point for mother birds. Now fly into Sunny’s Shades dye shop and see if a broom is there!

When you are finished talking to Fawn, fly to Neverfruit Grove and enter Sunny's Shades. Simply enter the shop to complete this task. Then return to Fawn.

Your Reward

I visited Sunny in her dye shop!

Fawn: "You saw a broom there? Critterific! I’ll borrow it to sweep off the branches at Flyaway [sic] Point, and our new flight school will be ready for the baby birds!"
"Oh, chickadee, I’m so excited! Teaching baby birds to fly is flaptastic fun. An’ I’m happy that we’ll be helpin’ the momma birds get some rest!"
"Be sure to stop by Neverfruit Grove soon an’ check it out! This is for you - a little resting spot for your Animal Friend!"
