Remade in 2006 starring Tim Allen as The Shaggy Dog, the original Shaggy D.A. was released in 1976, starring Disney Legend Dean Jones. Jones starred in several Disney live action films including That Darn Cat!, Blackbeard's Ghost and the original Herbie live action film, The Love Bug.

Another topsy turvy Disney classic is Freaky Friday, it was remade starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan in 2003. The original Freaky Friday was released in 1976 and starred Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster, as mother and daughter.

Did you know: Before the 2003 remake with Lindsay Lohan, Freaky Friday was remade as a television feature in 1995. It starred an up-and-coming actor/comedian by the name of Drew Carey.
