Cold Days, Warm Hearts (Quest)

Upon completion, you will receive a Snowflake Blue Snow Blanket. Prerequisites: Welcome to Pixie Hollow had to be completed. Released: 22 December 2008 Retired: 5 January 2009

Quick Quest Guide

This Quest has 11 steps.

What you will need: 11 Ivy, 10 Pine Needles, 10 Raspberries , 5 Acorns , and 10 Spider Silk.

Quick Steps

• Go to Silvermist's Grotto and ask if she has any quests. Pick Cold Days, Warm Hearts.
• Gather 5 pieces of Ivy and give them to Silvermist.
• Gather 10 Pine Needles and give them to Silvermist.
• Earn a score of 10,000 in Firefly Light-Up and return to Silvermist.
• Head over to Fawn and talk to her.
• Gather 10 Raspberries and give them to Fawn.
• Gather 5 Acorns and give them to Fawn.
• Head over to Tinker Bell's place and talk to her.
• Gather 10 strands of Spider Silk and give them to Tinker Bell.
• Gather 6 strands of Ivy and give them to Tinker Bell.
• Head over to Silvermist and talk to her.
• Head back to Tinker Bell and talk to her.
• Pick your reward and the quest is over.

In Depth Quest Guide

This is a full walk through for the quest, so if you're confused by any of the quick steps, hopefully these can help you out.

Head over to Silvermist's Grotto in Dewdrop Vale and ask her if she has any quests. If you have finished the first quest, Welcome to Pixie Hollow, the quest should appear in the list of quests you may do. If you have not completed the very first quest, Silvermist will tell you she has no quests for you. Upon starting the quest, Silvermist will begin to explain it:

Silvermist: "Psst! Fairyname Here! Guess what! I've got a secret!"
"You know how the tinker-talents have been working super hard to help the nature-talent Fairies get ready to bring Winter to the Mainland, right?"
"And you know it's time for Pixie Hollow's big Winter Wonderland party, right?"
"Well, Fawn and I want to give Tink a special surprise present. She's been working her wings off to help us, so we're going to decorate her house for the winter! Want to help?"

Step 1

Once you agree, Silvermist is thrilled and gives you the next step.

Silvermist: "Splasharific! We have so much to do!"
"Let's see, what to do first... Oh, I know! I'm making Ivy streamers that we can hang over Tink's doorway, but I sort of don't have any Ivy yet."
"Can you flit over to Dewdrop Vale or maybe Maple Tree Hill and find me some?"

Find 5 Ivy for Silvermist.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! They are going to decorate her house for winter. Help them gather the supplies!

After you have the 5 pieces of Ivy , head back to Silvermist and pick the option to give her the ivy to begin the next step.

Step 2

Silvermist: "What pretty Ivy!"
"Now we need Pine Needles. I'll use them to make little stars, and then I'll string the stars on the Ivy like dewdrops on a spider webs. Won't that look pretty?"

Find 10 Pine Needles for Silvermist.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! They are going to decorate her house for winter. Help them gather the supplies!

Just like with the ivy, go and gather Pine Needles from the Winter areas. When you have enough, head back to her for the next step.

Step 3

Silvermist: "Goodness glaciers, how did you carry all those Pine Needles at once? That's amazing!"
"The last thing I need you to do is...umm..."
"Oh, right! Fireflies!"
"Iridessa is over in Twilight Glen lighting fireflies right now! She uses all different kinds of light -- everything from blue moonlight to yellow sunlight -- to make them glow different colors."
"Just imagine a bunch of fireflies hovering inside Tink's house and glowing like rainbows! She'll love it!"
"Go get some fireflies, okay? Flit over to Springtime Orchard and then fly through the entrance to Twilight Glen."

Fly to Twilight Glen in Springtime Orchard and earn 10,000 points playing Firefly Light-Up. Return to Silvermist in her hideout when you're done!

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! They are going to decorate her house for winter. Help them gather the supplies!

Now, it's time for you to do something a bit different. You must "gather fireflies" which, in quest talk means, go play Firefly Light-Up in Springtime Orchard until you reach the desired score. Once you score 10,000 points either quit the game or play until the game is over and then head back to Silvermist to "give her the fireflies".

Step 4

Silvermist: "Oh, there fireflies are so cute! You did a flitterific job!"
"Now we have to be sure the fireflies stay put in Tink's house. Fawn said she knows how to solve that problem."

Ask Fawn about keeping the fireflies in place.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! To help them you've gathered Ivy, Pine Needles, and fireflies. Now Silvermist needs you to visit Fawn to get some tips on keeping the fireflies in place at Tinker Bell's house.

A much simpler step than the least few, all you need to do is head over to Maple Tree Hill and visit Fawn's Hideout. You then talk to her and she'll give you your next task.

Step 5

Fawn: "Heya, chickadee! Glad to see you're helping out!"
"The secret to keeping fireflies in one place is Raspberry juice. If we leave a little bit with each firefly, they'll stay near it because, well -- fireflies love raspberry juice!"
"Can you find some Raspberries?"

Find 10 Raspberries for Fawn to make into Raspberry juice.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! To help them you've gathered Ivy, Pine Needles, and fireflies. Now Fawn needs you to bring her some Raspberries.

And with that, you're back to collecting up ingredients. So, go search for the 10 Raspberries if you need them, or just give them to Fawn now if you don't, and then the next step will begin.

Step 6

Fawn: "Perfect!"
"I'll get to work squeezing the juice out of this Raspberries while you go out and find a few Acorns. I'll use the Acorn shells to hold the Raspberry juice!"

Find 5 Acorns for Fawn.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! To help them you've gathered Ivy, Pine Needles, fireflies. and Raspberries. Now Fawn needs you to bring her some Acorns.

As the step says, now you need to get Fawn some Acorns. It isn't a huge amount so despite being rare, you should be able to find them in a good amount of time if you don't have them on hand already. Once you have the 5 Acorns needed, go back and talk to Fawn to get your next task.

Step 7

Fawn: "Perfect! These Acorns are just the right size! All I need to do is hollow them out."
"Y'know, I was just thinking -- we don't want Tink to find out what we're up to. This is all a surprise, after all."
"Can you go visit her and distract her? tell her...umm...tell her Silvermist needs more leafkerchiefs! We all know that Sil cries a lot. She's definitely a water-talent!"

Distract Tinker Bell by asking her to make some leafkerchiefs for Silvermist.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! With your help, they've gathered almost everything they need. Now you must visit Tinker Bell in Tinker's Nook to distract her while Silvermist and Fawn sneak over to Tinker Bell's house and decorate it for winter!

So, now that Silvermist and Fawn have everything they need, they need you to go distract Tinkerbell as to not ruin the surprise. You don't have to do anything special--just head over to Tinker's Nook in Cottonpuff Field and talk to Tinker Bell to finish this step.

Step 8

Tinker Bell: "Well, if it isn't Fairyname Here! Are you enjoying the Winter Wonderland party? I can't believe how beautiful Winter Woods looks!"
"What?! Silvermist needs more leafkerchiefs already? But I just made her some petalkerchiefs!"
"She likes me to work with the sewing-talent to make her kerchiefs, you know, because I make sure they're extra strong."
"*SIGH* Okay. if she needs more, she needs more. Can you help out and get me some Spider Silk? I think I have some Ivy leaves around here somewhere..."

Find 10 strands of Spider Silk for Tinker Bell.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! With your help, they've gathered almost everything they need. Now you must visit Tinker Bell in Tinker's Nook to distract her while Silvermist and Fawn sneak over to Tinker Bell's house and decorate it for winter! Fawn suggested telling Tinker Bell that Silvermist needs some more leafkerchiefs, so now Tinker Bell as asked you to help her gather the '*wordcovered*' materials.

So, now you need to help Tinker Bell gather up some ingredients in order to aid in the plan of distracting her. If you don't already have Spider Silk, go find some. Once you have 10 strands, go and talk to Tink to finish this step of the quest.

Step 9

Tinker Bell: "Back already? Good, you have the Spider Silk!"
"But guess what? I can't find the Ivy leaves. Can you go get me some?"

Find 6 strands of Ivy for Tinker Bell.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! With your help, they've gathered almost everything they need. Now you must visit Tinker Bell in Tinker's Nook to distract her while Silvermist and Fawn sneak over to Tinker Bell's house and decorate it for winter! Fawn suggested telling Tinker Bell that Silvermist needs some more leafkerchiefs, so now Tinker Bell as asked you to help her gather the '*wordcovered*' materials.

Turns out Tinker Bell didn't have the Ivy like she thought, thus, you are given another assignment to go and find some. As always, if you have it, just talk to her again, and if you don't, go find that Ivy and then head on back.

Step 10

Tinker Bell: "Thanks! These Ivy leaves are perfect! Now I'll mesh the Spider Silk and Ivy leaves together..."
"..."
"There! Another batch of Tink's Super-Strong Leafkerchiefs is ready! You can take them to Silvermist now. Have a great time at the Winter Wonderland party!"

Deliver the leafkerchiefs to Silvermist and see how the decorating went.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn are planning a special surprise for Tinker Bell! With your help, they've gathered almost everything they need and distracted Tinker Bell so that they could decorate Tink's house for winter! Meanwhile, Tinker Bell has been making leafkerchiefs for Silvermist.

Now the leafkerchiefs are finished and Silvermist and Fawn should've had plenty of time to decorate, so go see Silvermist and not only check on the decorating, but give her the leafkerchiefs!

Step 11

Silvermist: "Oh, you're back! Good!"
"Aww, Tink made these leafkerchiefs for me? She's so sweet. *SNIFF*"
"We finished all the decorating while you were with Tink! Why don't you go visit Tink again and see if she's seen them?"

Visit Tinker Bell to see if she's seen the surprise decorations at her house.

Story So Far

Silvermist and Fawn decorated Tinker Bell's house for winter, with your help, of course! Visit Tinker Bell in Tinker's Nook to see if she's seen the surprise yet!

The leafkerchiefs have been dropped off and Silvermist and Fawn finished the decorating, so now to see if Tinker Bell has seen her house yet! So, head back over to Tinker's Nook and talk to her to find out. Upon getting there, you'll find a very happy Tinker Bell who will not only precede to Thank you, but give you your reward as well.

Your Reward

Tinker Bell: "Fairyname Here! I just flew home and my house is all decorated! What a wonderful present!"
"Oh, and this was by my front door -- It's addressed to you!"
"The note says "For Fairyname Here -- Thanks for all your help! Happy Winter Wonderland! Love, F & S"."
"Now I know who decorated my house! It was you and Fawn and Silvermist, right? You guys are so sneaky! Thank you!"

You'll be rewarded with a Snowflake Blue Snow Blanket as shown below.
