Baking is a way for you to bake cookies and treats for the community, or even bake goodies for yourself using the objects you can find around Pixie Hollow. To bake, you simply need to visit Dulcie's Kitchen in Neverberry Thicket.

Aside from the information that you get from the recipe page, this will show you the number of the recipe, the ingredients you need, the number of times you have baked this recipe, your highest quality score for the recipe and the steps involved to make it. To return to the list of recipes, simply click the "X" in the top right hand corner. When you have found the recipe you like, click the Make It! button to begin baking.

Steps

There are up to four steps to baking, each being a small mini game that you must complete to continue. In the end, you will be scored with a quality rating judged by certain aspects of each mini-game.

Mixing

Mixing is the first step in baking. Move your mouse back and forth to mix the batter. The faster you move your mouse, the faster you mix. The slower you move your mouse, the slower you mix. There will be a speed meter showing you how fast or slow to mix. The more you stay in between the lines of the meter the higher your quality score will be at the end.

Image:PH Baking Mixing Instruction 3.png|Try not to mix too fast or too slow - the indicator shows you just how fast to mix.

Image:PH_Baking Mixing Part 1.png|Select Next to begin the process. Image:PH_Baking Mixing Part 2.png|Dulcie will let you know if you need to stir faster or slower, or if you are doing a Great Job!

You have completed this step when a message pops up saying you are done.

Pouring

Pouring is the second step in baking. Using your mouse, move over the measuring cups. Click and hold down the left mouse button to pour batter into the cups. Try to fill the cups up to the line without going over. Filling the cups accurately and finishing with time left will give you a higher quality rating at the end.

Image:PH_Baking Pouring Part 1.png|Select Next to begin the process. Image:PH_Baking Pouring Part 2.png|Dulcie will let you know if you need to add more batter to the cup or if performed a Perfect Pour!

You have completed this step when you have filled each of the cups up to the line or when you run out of time.

Fire Tending

Fire Tending is the third step in baking. If baking Cookies or Silly Sweets, this will be the final step. Using your mouse, click under the fire to keep the fire going. Keep the fire level in between the red and blue line. If the fire goes above the red line, your fire is too hot. If the fire goes below the blue line, your fire is too cold. The more you keep the fire level in between the lines the higher quality rating at the end.

Image:PH Baking Fire Tending Instruction.png|Click beneath a fire to make it hotter. Image:PH Baking Fire Tending Instruction 2.png|Careful not to make the fires too hot, or your treats might burn! Image:PH Baking Fire Tending Instruction 3.png|Don't let the fires get to cold, or they may go out!

Image:PH_Baking Fire-Tending Part 1.png|Select Next to begin the process. Image:PH_Baking Fire-Tending Part 2.png|Dulcie will let you know if the fire is too hot, too cold or Just Right!

You have completed this step when the timer runs out.

Cupcakes

Baking Cupcakes requires a fourth step. Using your mouse, click on a cupcake to place it under the icing. Select the correct color of icing and the cupcake will move to the next station. Click on the correct sprinkles and the cupcake will continue on the next conveyer belt. Continue icing and decorating cupcakes until you have correctly completed the number required or your time runs out. The more cupcakes decorated correctly, the higher quality rating you will receive at the end.

Image:PH Baking Cupcakes Instructions 2.png|Click on a cupcake to move it from the left treadmill to the frosting station. Image:PH Baking Cupcakes Instructions 4.png|Put all the necessary sprinkles on the cupcake at the sprinkle station. Image:PH Baking Cupcakes Instructions 5.png|Letting a cupcake fall off the treadmill will cause you to lose time. Image:PH Baking Cupcakes Instructions 6.png|Putting the wrong frosting or sprinkles on a cupcake will cause it to be discarded and you will lose time.

Image:PH_Baking Cupcakes Part 1.png|Select Next to begin the process. Image:PH_Baking Cupcakes Part 2.png|The cupcakes will start to come out of the conveyor belt. Image:PH_Baking Cupcakes Part 3.png|Add the correct colored frosting. Image:PH_Baking Cupcakes Part 4.png|Add the correct colored sprinkles.
